Later that year, Humor are booked to play the Otherlands Festival at Scone Palace, near Perth, which Doig describes as “very special” for him as it is not far from his birthplace.īut when it comes to the venue they would most like to play at, the band’s answer is unanimous – the legendary Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow’s East End.
“But it’s also nice that the band isn’t our job,” he adds. When it comes to their long-term ambitions for humor, he says they take it “week by week” and see how things go.

“We regularly discuss how to balance our work commitments with the band, but the reality is that music isn’t a very well-paying career,” admits Patrizio. They launched a crowdfunding campaign to fund the trip and held a benefit concert in Glasgow.
